This is the latest release of our limited edition 58mm Bottomless Portafilter, designed specifically for Sunbeam home espresso machines with a 3 ear (3 tab) locking system. It features a matte black portafilter head paired with a black and rosewood handle, creating a sleek and modern aesthetic.

The bottomless (naked) design exposes the entire extraction process, allowing you to easily spot channeling, assess your puck preparation, refine your tamping technique, and dial in your grinder settings. It is not only a powerful diagnostic tool but also delivers a visually satisfying espresso pour.

Compatible with selected Sunbeam machines that use a 58mm basket and 3 ear portafilter design, this limited edition portafilter combines performance, craftsmanship, and design to elevate your daily coffee routine.

The bottomless design allows for a full view of the espresso extraction process, helping you achieve greater consistency in your shots. It also enhances crema formation as there is no additional contact with spouts, allowing the espresso to flow directly from the basket.

Please Note

Switching to a new portafilter may require adjustments to your grind size, dosage, or overall preparation technique. It is common to see channeling or spurting at first, and this is not a flaw in the portafilter. It simply highlights areas where your preparation can be refined, such as grind size, tamping, or distribution. With a few adjustments, you will be able to achieve smoother and more consistent extractions.
