We’re Sia and Gary, and we founded Brewing Culture in 2019.
Our love for coffee started long before the brand. We spent years visiting cafés together, enjoying different brews, roasters, and the simple joy that coffee brings. For us, coffee was never just a drink. It was a moment to slow down, connect, and enjoy the start of the day. We also loved exploring the flavours of different beans and learning what made each cup unique.
In 2019, we began exploring the idea of creating something of our own around coffee. At the time, it started as a small passion project, driven by curiosity and our interest in coffee tools and brewing techniques. When the pandemic changed daily life, like many people, we began making coffee at home more seriously. We experimented, learned, and discovered how much difference the right tools and small details could make. That experience helped shape the direction of what Brewing Culture would become.
Brewing Culture was created to help people enjoy better coffee at home without making it complicated. Many people use the tools that come with their machine and may not realise how much their coffee can improve with the right upgrades. With thoughtful tools and simple changes, great coffee becomes easier and more enjoyable.
