This puck screen remover uses a strong magnet to lift your puck screen after brewing.
Puck screens are typically made from 304 stainless steel, which is naturally non-magnetic in its original state. However, manufacturing processes such as stamping, pressing, and machining can cause magnetic properties to develop. The level of magnetism may vary depending on the manufacturing process, material thickness, and post-production treatment.
Some third-party puck screens may have little or no magnetic attraction, even if they are made from 304 stainless steel, and may not be compatible with this tool.
All Brewing Culture puck screens have been tested and are fully compatible. We have also tested a wide range of third-party puck screens, with approximately 93% found to be compatible.
If you're unsure, simply test your puck screen with a household magnet before purchasing.
